#MuteRKelly Campaign with Grantee Partner A Long Walk Home

Gender-based violence has dominated the news cycle this past week, but our grantee partner A Long Walk Home has been combating gender-based violence for nearly two decades. The organization and leaders behind the #MuteRKelly campaign were most recently featured at a City Hall roundtable on Monday to discuss Mayor Lightfoot's new citywide strategic plan to end gender-based violence. Their intersectional approach understands the ways in which Black and Brown girls are disproportionately targeted by violence. We are proud to work with A Long Walk Home and to support their powerful mission.
